Top five French holiday destinations

France is a popular holiday destination for many people, however whether you’ve visited the country many times in the past or are going on a break there for the first time deciding where to go can be a tricky task. As there are many self catering locations throughout the country, you won’t have to spend hours looking for cheap holiday deals, instead head to one of the many campsites or caravan parks.

Well-known for its golden beaches and crystal-clear water, Saint-Tropez can be a great place for sunworshippers to visit. Situated in the French Rivera, you will find the temperatures are pleasant all year round although they are at their hottest in the summer.

However, there is much more to do here than simply lie in the sun and if you visit in the last week of September you will have the chance to see the annual Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez yacht race.
